Batman Dark Knight

Robert Kirkman, who became an Image Comics partner earlier this year, has guaranteed on-time shipping with his books, beginning in January.

"Every single one of my titles -- Walking Dead, Invincible, Astounding Wolf-Man and Brit -- will now be guaranteed to ship by their solicited date," Kirkman said. "This isn't an empty promise and I've taken that extra step of hiring Aubrey Sitterson, an editor for my entire line, a guy you may know from his days at Marvel."

Sitterson, who first worked with Kirkman on titles such as The Irredeemable Ant-Man and Marvel Team-Up, has been working with Kirkman for the last several months, ensuring the upcoming resolicited books hit their target date.

Sitterson said, "I spent years wrangling Robert at the House of Ideas. Now, I'm champing at the bit to crack the whip and mix whatever metaphors necessary to get every last one of his books out on time - no exceptions and no excuses!"

Guaranteed ship dates will begin in January with Astounding Wolf-Man #12, Brit #12, Invincible #58 and The Walking Dead #57.

NBC has released 11 images from "I Am Become Death," the Monday, Oct. 6 episode of Heroes.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Seeing a future where nearly everyone has abilities, a world destined for destruction, Peter resolves to prevent this earth-shattering end -- whatever the cost -- and so takes on a dark, unwieldy ability to save the world -- gambling (wrong) that it won't destroy him and everything he loves first. After allowing Angela's (Cristine Rose) half of 'the formula' to be stolen, Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) set out to uncover the identity of the Villain who hired Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) -- and must consult with the person who knows these rogues best...Adam Monroe (guest star David Anders). After the bloodbath at the bank, H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) resolves to get rid of his new partner.

"Meanwhile, determined to be a hero, Claire (Hayden Panettiere) hits the road after one of the Villains from H.R.G.'s old files. Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) gives in to impulse. Linderman (guest star Malcolm McDowell) and Molly (guest star Adair Tishler) return in unexpected manners. A new romance ignites between two Heroes."

The book is the first in a series of comic books from Bluewater portraying influential and important American women who have shaped, and continue to shape, the political and social landscape of the country. The title will be a quarterly series.
