Movie news -- and much more!!!

SMALLVILLE UPCOMING EPISODES

The CW has released 24 images from two upcoming episodes of Smallville.

Following is a rundown:

"PREY," Thursday, Oct. 23

Clark (Tom Welling) looks into a recent attack in a theater that may be the work of a serial killer. Suspecting it could be someone who is meteor-infected, he demands that Chloe (Allison Mack) release the names of the people she is counseling at the Isis Foundation, which causes a rift between the friends. Davis (Sam Witwer) fears that his blackouts could mean that he is the serial killer and collects evidence that may implicate him. Fearing the worst, he confesses his suspicions to Chloe.

"Prey" was written by Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders and was directed by Michael Rohl.

"IDENTITY," Thursday, Oct. 30

Jimmy (Aaron Ashmore) snaps a picture of Clark (Tom Welling) super-speeding to save Lois (Erica Durance) from a mugger and manages to catch a red and blue blur on film. Jimmy shows it to Tess (Cassidy Freeman) who decides to run it on the front page of the Daily Planet. Clark fears his identity will be discovered so he asks Chloe (Allison Mack) to run interference with Jimmy, but she refuses. Justin Hartley and Sam Witwer also star.

"Identity" was written by Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer and directed by Mairzee Almas.

DON CHEADLE IN IRON MAN 2

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Don Cheadle is replacing Terrence Howard in Iron Man 2.

Cheadle will take over the role of James Rhodes in the sequel, which again stars Robert Downey Jr and will be directed by Jon Favreau.

According to The Reporter's unnamed sources, a deal with Howard fell through "over financial differences, among other reasons."

Rhodes' development into War Machine was hinted at in the first film and he is expected to have a larger part in the sequel, being written by Justin Theroux.

Iron Man 2 is scheduled to be in theaters on May 7, 2010.
