SPAWN SELL OUT, NEW PRINTING
Image Comics has announced a second printing for the sold-out Spawn #185
The issue was the first for Spawn's new creative team of Image Comics founders Todd McFarlane and Whilce Portacio.
"Obviously itıs good news to have the initial issue sell out so quickly, but now the bigger task is to continue that momentum in the issues going forward," said McFarlane, Spawn's creator. "As a reminder, the first few issues will be a lot of setup before we kick this into high gear. Each issue isn't meant to be its own stand-alone book."
In Spawn #185, readers were introduced to the awakening of the mysterious and comatose Patient 47 as McFarlane and Portacio launched the title's new director.
Image has yet to announce a release date for the second printing.
