COMING FRIDAY

Marvel Comics First Looks -- and much more!

FOX'S DOLLHOUSE

Fox has released a new promotional video from Joss Whedon's new television series, Dollhouse.

To view the video, CLICK HERE.

Here's how Fox describes the series, which reteams Whedon with Buffy the Vampire Slayer alumna Eliza Dushku:

"Echo (Dushku) is an Active, a member of a highly illegal and underground group who have their personalities wiped clean so they can be imprinted with any number of new personas. Confined to a secret facility known as the Dollhouse, Echo and the other Actives including Sierra (Dichen Lachman) and Victor (Enver Gjokaj) carry out engagements assigned by Adelle (Olivia Williams), one of the Dollhouse leaders. The engagements cater to the wealthy, powerful and connected, and require the Actives to immerse themselves in all manner of scenarios -- romantic, criminal, uplifting, dangerous, comical and the occasional 'pro bono' good deed.

"After each scenario, Echo, always under the watchful eye of her handler Boyd (Harry Lennix), returns to the mysterious Dollhouse where her thoughts, feelings and experiences are erased by Topher (Fran Kranz), the Dollhouse's genius programmer. Echo enters the next scenario with no memory of before. Or does she?

"As the series progresses, FBI Agent Paul Ballard (Tahmoh Penikett) pieces together clues that lead him closer to the Dollhouse, while Echo stops forgetting, her memories begin to return and she slowly pieces together her mysterious past."

Dollhouse premieres in January.

(Jack Coleman) while Claire (Hayden Panettiere) struggles to survive. In Haiti, Peter and Nathan (Milo Ventimiglia and Adrian Pasdar) join forces with the Haitian (Jimmy Jean-Louis) to battle the Haitian's brother, Baron Samedi (guest star Demetrius Grosse), and Nathan comes to a shocking decision.

"In the meantime, Ando (James Kyson Lee), Sam (guest star Seth Green) and Frack (guest star Breckin Meyer) work hard to get Hiro's (Masi Oka) memory back with the help of the 9th Wonders comic books at a local comic bookstore."

THE SIMPSONS: "HOMER AND LISA EXCHANGE CROSS WORDS"

Fox has released a description from "Homer and Lisa Exchange Cross Words," the Sunday, Nov. 16 episode of The Simpsons.

Here's how Fox describes the episode:

Homer, short on cash after abandoning his 'Sweet Conclusions' professional break-up artist business, goes to cheer Lisa on at her tournament and discovers an underground crossword puzzle betting ring. In the ultimate betrayal, Homer profits from betting against Lisa in the championship match.

"When the heartbroken Lisa finds out, Homer must spell out his love for her with a little help from New York Times crossword puzzle editor Will Shortz (guest voice as himself) and master crossword constructor Merl Reagle (guest voice as himself)."
