* According to The CW, Thursday's episode of Smallville, "Bloodline," reached season highs for the series in ratings. The episode, which featured the return of Laura Vandervoort as Kara, had 4.6 million total viewers and the show's best performance in Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 in Season 8.

* According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brett Ratner is in final negotiations to direct a Conan movie from Nu Image/Millennium and Lionsgate Films.
