Marvel news -- and more!

X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE TRAILER

Twentieth Century Fox has confirmed that the first trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine will be attached to another Fox film, The Day The Earth Stood Still, which premieres on Friday, Dec. 12.

"We are so excited that fans will be experiencing it first on the big screen," said Fox representative Carol Cundiff. "The trailer will be exclusively available in theaters. It will not debut online or on TV until some time later."

This will be the first public exposure of the film since star Hugh Jackman brought a clip to Comic-Con International in San Diego last summer.

Wolverine is scheduled for a May 1 release.

HEROES: "DUALITY"

NBC has released a description and eight images from "Duality," the Monday, Dec. 15 episode of Heroes.

Here's how NBC describes the episode:

"In the aftermath of the showdown against Arthur Petrelli, the Petrelli brothers (Adrian Pasdar and Milo Ventimiglia) find themselves battling against one another and Nathan makes a move that will have global repercussions. Meanwhile, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) holds Claire (Hayden Panettiere), H.R.G. (Jack Coleman), Meredith (guest star Jessalyn Gilsig) and Angela (Cristine Rose) hostage at Primatech and a face-off ensues.

"Elsewhere, Ando (James Kyson Lee), Matt (Greg Grunberg) and Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) continue their attempts to rescue Hiro (Masi Oka) -- and Dr. Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) may be their only hope."

THE SIMPSONS: "THE BURNS AND THE BEES"

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, sportscaster Marv Albert and Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos provde guest voices in "The Burns and the Bees," the Sunday, Dec. 7 episode of Fox's The Simpsons.

Here's how Fox describes the episode:

"During the annual billionaires' retreat, Mr. Burns wins the Boston Celtics in a casual game of poker. While hosting the season opener in Springfield, Mr. Burns witnesses the antics of Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban (guest voice as himself). Fascinated with his behavior, Mr. Burns decides to emulate Cuban's over-the-top crowd pleasing stunts in order to win over the hearts of Springfield's basketball fans. In the midst of his failing endeavor, Mr. Burns decides that the best way to win over the fans is to build a brand new, state-of-the-art sports arena.

"Unfortunately, the last remaining bee colony in Springfield is located on the proposed stadium site, and Lisa is single-handedly spearheading a movement to protect them. As Lisa fights for a safe haven for the bees, Homer attempts to help the quickly diminishing bee population by mating the Springfield bees with Africanized bees, creating a buzzworthy fiasco."
