BRIEFLY

* The Spirit's Samuel L. Jackson appeared on ABC's The View on Tuesday, his 60th birthday.

In addition to talking about his chraacter, The Octopus, Jackson said he is on board for Iron Man 2.

"I haven't signed a contract and I haven't read a script, but (director) Jon Favreau says yes," Jackson said.
