SMALLVILLE: "POWER"

The CW has released 22 images from "Power," the Thursday, Jan. 29 episode of Smallville.

"Power" marks the directing debut of Allison Mack, who plays Chloe.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Clark (Tom Welling) finds Tess (Cassidy Freeman) in Lana's (Kristin Kreuk) ransacked apartment and realizes Lana is missing. Tess tells him Lex is still alive and may have kidnapped Lana and finally reveals the truth about what happened to Lana after she awoke from her Brainiac-induced coma. Meanwhile, Tess breaks into a secret LuthorCorp facility and is shocked at what she discovers."

The episode was written by Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavkin.

FALL OUT BOY ON THE SIMPSONS

Fall Out Boy will be performing their rendition of The Simpsons theme song during the end credits of the "Lisa the Drama Queen" episode on Fox on Sunday.

Named after the sidekick of The Simpsons character Radioactive Man, Fall Out Boy will honor their namesake by recording their own version of the iconic theme song originally composed by Danny Elfman.

Formed in 2001 in the Chicago suburbs, Fall Out Boy -- whose members are Patrick Vaughn Stump, Pete Wentz, Joe Trohman and Andrew Hurley -- recently released their fourth album, Folie a Deux, and will embark on a nationwide tour in April.

Also in Sunday's episode, actress Emily Blunt makes a guest voice appearance as Lisašs equally academic and creative new friend Juliet. Together they construct a fantasy world that takes them both a little too far from reality.

Blunt reportedly is in negotiations to play Black Widow in Iron Man 2.
