WATCHMEN NO. 3 AT BOX OFFICE

Watchmen took a 78 percent hit from its opening day and placed third at the box office on Friday.

The film pulled in an estimated $5.4 million from 3,611 at the box office to start its second week, pushing its total to $73.3 million.

Race to Witch Mountain placed first with $6.7 million, followed by The Last House on the Left with $5.6 million.

Watchmen now figures to be well below original estimates for its second weekend.

By comparison, Zack Snyder's previous comics film, 300, had $106.3 million through eight days.

HEROES: "TURN AND FACE THE STRANGE"

NBC has released a description from "Turn and Face the Strange," the Monday, April 6 episode of Heroes.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"As Danko (guest-star Zeljko Ivanek) spearheads the government operation, someone close to him is put in the line of fire. HRG's (Jack Coleman) life continues to spiral out of control and his marriage is dangerously close to the breaking point.

"Meanwhile, Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) continue their road trip with a special delivery for Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg). Elsewhere, Angela Petrelli (Cristine Rose) unearths the demons of her past."

TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES: "ADAM RAISED A CAIN"

Fox has released two images from "Adam Raised a Cain," the Friday, April 3 episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Fox has yet to release a description of the episode.

In the images, John (Thomas Dekker) and Cameron (Summer Glau) watch a breaking news story from a store window.

FEBRUARY SALES

According to Diamond Distributors, Marvel Comics' Amazing Spider-Man #583, the comic book featuring President Obama now in its fifth printing, was the top-selling title in February, placing it atop the charts for two consecutive months.

Marvel Comics took the top publisher spot in February, leading both Unit (47.84 percent) and Retail Dollar Market Shares (44.77 percent).
