HEROES: "INTO ASYLUM"

NBC has released nine images from "Into Asylum," the Monday, March 30 episode of Heroes.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Now that Nathan's (Adrian Pasdar) ability has been revealed and he has lost control of his operation, he and Claire (Hayden Panettiere) go into hiding in Mexico. With Emile Danko (guest star Zeljko Ivanek) now in control of the government operation, his plan to destroy everyone with abilities is set into motion as he teams up with an unlikely partner.

"Meanwhile, Angela (Cristine Rose) and Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) seek refuge in a church and begin to mend their broken relationship."

DC COMICS' NEW BATMAN AND ROBIN

Diamond Distributors has announced that DC Comics' new Batman and Robin title will be featured on the cover of the upcoming issue of its Previews catalogue.

The series, by the All Star Superman team of Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely, begins in June.

According to Diamond, the series will kick off with a three-part "Batman Reborn" story arc, as the new Dynamic Duo are quickly tested by a villainous organization known as the Circus of Strange as well as a case involving an abducted child and the mysterious Domino Killer.

June will also see the return of Judd Winick as the writer of Batman and the debuts of Red Robin by Christopher Yost and Ramon Bachs, Batman: Streets of Gotham by Paul Dini and Dustin Nguyen and Gotham City Sirens by Dini and Guillem March.

BRIEFLY

* FX will air the first Fantastic Four movie on Monday, March 30 at 8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 31 at 5:30 p.m.

The network will also air Elektra on Monday, March 30 at 10:30 p.m. and Tuesday, March 31 at 8 a.m.

* Freddie Prinze Jr. has joined the cast of the ABC pilot No Heroics, a comedy about a group of B-list super-heroes. Prinze will play a character called Ultimatum, an A-list super-hero.

Prinze is a long-time comics reader, listing the Silver Surfer and Thing among his favorite characters. He wrote an episode of Marvel's Mutant X syndicated television series in 2003.

* BOOM! Studios has announced a third printing for the sold-out Farscape #1. The new printing will be in stores on April 29.

* Watchmen remained in second place at the box office on Tuesday with $1.2 million, pushing its total to $88.6 million. According to ticket vendor Fandango, Watchmen remains its top seller, with 27 percent of its sales as of Thursday morning.
