HEROES: "1961"

NBC has released six images from "1961," the Monday, April 13 episode of Heroes.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"As Nathan (Adrian Pasdar), Claire (Hayden Panettiere), Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) and H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) help Angela (Cristine Rose) uncover her past, she reveals the dark secrets that have haunted her for years. Meanwhile, Mohinder (Sendhil Ramamurthy) learns of his fatheršs involvement in a long forgotten government operation."

BRIEFLY

* According to The Hollywood Reporter, Will Arnett and Michael Shannon have joined the cast of the Jonah Hex movie. Arnett will play a Union soldier who enlists Hex, and Shannon will play Doc Cross Williams, a "bizarre ringleader of a brutal gladiator circus event."

* The Thursday, April 16 episode of Smallville on The CW will be a repeat of "Requiem."

* Zenescope Entertainment and No Quarter Entertainment have decided to cancel their plan to launch the pirate-themed comic book No Quarter, which was originally set for a June release.

"We feel bad that we let our fans down a bit after promoting the release and getting some great feedback but unfortunately sometimes the unexpected occurs," said Zenescope executive VP, Ralph Tedesco "We do wish No Quarter Entertainment luck with their future endeavors and hopefully the book will be published at some point, even if it's not under the Zenescope label."

Zenescope will launch two new, yet-to-be-announced titles this summer, both set to debut preview issues at Comic-Con International in San Diego.
