MONDAY, APRIL 6, 2009GREEN LANTERN: FIRST FLIGHT ON JULY 21 The street date for Green Lantern: First Flight, the fifth entry in the DVD series of DC Universe Animated Original PG-13 Movies, has shifted to July 21.
The original release date was July 28.
A co-production of Warner Premiere, DC Comics and Warner Bros. Animation, the animated film will be distributed by Warner Home Video. Green Lantern: First Flight will be available as a special edition 2-disc version on DVD and Blu-ray for $24.98 (SRP) and $29.99 (SRP), respectively, as well as single-disc DVD for $19.98 (SRP).
Christopher Meloni leads the cast as the voice of Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern. The cast includes Emmy Award nominee Victor Garber, Tricia Helfer and Michael Madsen. The film is writtned by Alan Burnett, directed by Lauren Montgomery and produeced by Bruce Timm.

"Green Lantern: First Flight finds Hal Jordan recruited to join the Green Lantern Corps and placed under the supervision of respected senior Lantern Sinestro. The earthling soon discovers his mentor is actually the central figure in a secret conspiracy that threatens the philosophies, traditions and hierarchy of the entire Green Lantern Corps. Hal must quickly hone his newfound powers and combat the treasonous Lanterns within the ranks to maintain order in the universe."
HEROES: "INVISIBLE THREAD"NBC has released a description of "Invisible Thread," the "Volume 4: Fugitives" finale of Heroes scheduled to air on Monday, April 27.

"Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) faces off against Sylar (Zachary Quinto) to keep him from meeting the President (guest-star Michael Dorn). Sylar has his own plans for his new partner.
"Meanwhile, Hiro (Masi Oka) learns that there are repercussions to regaining his ability. Elsewhere, Matt (Greg Grunberg) is forced to go to extraordinary lengths to protect his future with his family."
The episode was written by Heroes creator/executive producer Tim Kring.

SMALLVILLE: "STILETTO"The CW has released a description from "Stiletto," the Thursday, April 23 episode of Smallville.
Here's how the network describes the episode:
"Lois (Erica Durance) believes that she needs a big story to secure her reputation as a star reporter, but the red/blue blur continues to elude her. However, after Chloe (Allison Mack) is mugged, Lois steps in to fend off one of the attackers and uses the opportunity to pretend a new superhero, Stiletto, has come to town and is giving exclusives to Lois. Clark (Tom Welling) is concerned Lois will hurt herself pretending to be a superhero but after he is captured by thugs with kryptonite, Lois steps in to save the day."
The episode was written by Caroline Dries and directed by Kevin Fair.
FAMILY GUY: "STEW-ROIDS"Fox has released a description of "Stew-Roids," the Sunday, April 26 episode of Family Guy.
Here's how Fox describes the episode:
"After Stewie gets his baby butt kicked by Joe's infant daughter, he starts hitting the gym with Peter. It seems like all of Stewie's hard work is paying off until Peter drops a bombshell when he reveals just how Stewie got those six-pack abs.
"Meanwhile, Chris starts to date a popular girl at school and quickly realizes that popularity is like physics -- as in what goes up must come down."

MARVEL SUPER HERO SQUAD: STEVE BLUMSteve Blum, the voice of Wolverine in Nicktoons' Wolverine and the X-Men, is also providing the voice of Wolverine in Cartoon Network's upcoming Marvel Super Hero Squad.
Wolverine will be one of the show's regular characters.
In addition to Wolverine, Blum provides the voice of Abomination in Super Hero Squad.
Blum also provided the voice of Wolverine in the Hulk vs. movie. His other credits include Green Goblin in The Spectacular Spider-Man.

MARVEL COMICS ROUNDUPMarvel Comics has announced a second printing for the sold-out Cable #13.
The new printing will feature Ariel Olivetti's interior art on the cover and will be in stores on May 6.
