ANNE HATHAWAY TALKS THE SIMPSONS

Anne Hathaway said she "flipped out" when she was approached to provide a guest-voice for Fox's The Simpsons.

Hathaway, nominated for an Academy Award the past year, provides the voice of Jenny in "The Good, the Sad and the Drugly," Sunday's episode of The Simpsons.

Hathaway said she has been a long-time fan of The Simpsons, having watched the show since she was a little girl.

Here's how Fox describes the episode:

"When Bart and Milhouse pull off a prank at Springfield Elementary, Milhouse takes the fall and gets suspended from school. Homer forces Bart to sign in under Homerıs name and visit Grampa at his retirement home, and Bart soon becomes smitten with a delightful 11-year-old volunteer named Jenny (guest star Anne Hathaway). Hoping to impress Jenny, Bart offers to volunteer at the home. But as Bart and Jennyıs relationship progresses, Milhouse emerges from his suspension and is less than thrilled about Bart turning his back on him for a girl.

"Meanwhile, Lisa does a report on what Springfield will look like in 50 years and becomes very depressed at the dreary outlook. A concerned Marge takes Lisa to a psychiatrist who diagnoses Lisa with Environment-Related Despair and puts on her on an antidepressant to cure her eco-blues."

SMALLVILLE: "INJUSTICE"

The CW has released a description from "Injustice," the Thursday, May 7 episode of Smallville.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Chloe (Allison Mack) returns and begs Clark (Tom Welling) to kill Davis (Sam Witwer), claiming he can no longer keep the beast under control. Tess (Cassidy Freeman) has assembled a team of meteor freaks, including Plastique (guest star Jessica Parker Kennedy), to track down Davis so Clark can kill him. However, things get out of hand once Tess' team discovers she is double-crossing them."

"Injustice" was written by Al Septien and Turi Meyer and was directed by Mairzee Almas.
