MONDAY, MAY 4, 2009MARVEL SUPER HERO SQUAD: KEVIN SORBO![]() Kevin Sorbo is providing the voice of Ka-Zar for the upcoming Marvel Super Hero Squad animated series on Cartoon Network, The Continuum has learned.
Sorbo, 50, recently completed filming Paradox, a movie based on the Arcana Studio comic book. Last summer, he guest-starred on ABC Family's The Middleman.
Sorbo is best known for long stints in syndicated television with Andromeda and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.
Twenty-six episodes of Super Hero Squad will launch late this year on Cartoon Network.

2009 MTV MOVIE AWARD NOMINATIONSComic-book movies landed 11 nominations, including four for The Dark Knight, for the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.
Saturday Night Live's Andy Samberg will be the host for the awards, which will be televised live on MTV on Sunday, May 31 at 9 p.m. (ET).
The Dark Knight's nominations included Best Movie; Christian Bale for Best Male Performance; Heath Ledger for Best Villain; and Bale vs. Ledger for Best Fight.
Wanted's nominations included Angelina Jolie for Best Female Performance; Jolie and James McAvoy for Best Kiss; and Jolie for Best WTF Moment.
Iron Man's nominations included Best Movie and Robert Downey Jr. for Best Male Performance.
Hellboy II: The Golden Army's nominations included Luke Goss for Best Villain and Goss vs. Ron Perlman for Best Fight.
THE SIMPSONS: "COMING TO HOMERICA"![]() Fox has released a description and image from "Coming to Homerica," the season finale of The Simpsons, scheduled to air on Sunday, May 17.
Here's how Fox describes the episode:
"When nearby Ogdenville's economy crumbles due to tainted barley discovered in Krusty's veggie burgers, the unemployed workers of Ogdenville flock to Springfield. After Mayor Quimby closes Springfield's borders and enlists private citizens to help patrol them, Homer organizes a border patrol group."
