X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE BOX OFFICE

X-Men Origins: Wolverine finished second to Star Trek at the box office over the weekend.

The prequel pulled in an estimated $27.0 in its second weekend of release to push its total to $129.6 million.

It dropped 67 percent from its opening weekend of $85.0 million.

That remains the top opening weekend of the year after a challenge from Star Trek last weekend. Star Trek pulled in $76.5 million over the weekend, including $4 million for Thursday night shows.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is 11th among Marvel movies and figures to pass 2007's Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer ($131.9 million), 2003's Hulk ($132.2 million) and last year's The Incredible Hulk ($134.8 million) this week.
