BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD: "THE COLOR OF REVENGE!"

Warner Bros. Animation has released a description, 26 images and three clips from "The Color of Revenge!," the Friday, May 22 episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold on Cartoon Network.

Here's how Warner describes the episode:

"Batman and Robin team up again, but it's not like it always was -- there was a reason Robin left to go work on his own. As Crazy Quilt comes after Robin for revenge, all the dirty laundry comes out between the dynamic duo!"

The episode was written by Todd Casey and directed by Michael Chang.

The voice cast includes Diedrich Bader as Batman and Solomon Grundy, Jeremy Shada as young Robin, Jeffrey Tambor as Crazy Quilt, Green and Red, Sean Donnellan as Blue and Cranford Wilson as Robin.

TERMINATOR SALVATION GALLERY

Warner Bros. has released a gallery of image from Terminator Salvation, due in theaters on May 21.

The studio has also released an official description of the film:

"The year is 2018.

"Judgment Day has come and gone, leveling modern civilization. An army of Terminators roams the post-apocalyptic landscape, killing or collecting humans where they hide in the desolate cities and deserts. But small groups of survivors have organized into a Resistance, hiding in underground bunkers and striking when they can against an enemy force that vastly outnumbers them.

"Controlling the Terminators is the artificial intelligence network Skynet, which became self-aware 14 years earlier and, in the blink of an eye, turned on its creators, unleashing nuclear annihilation on an unsuspecting world.

"Only one man saw Judgment Day coming. One man, whose destiny has always been intertwined with the fate of human existence: John Connor (Christian Bale).

"Now the world is on the brink of the future that Connor has been warned about all his life. But something totally new has shaken his belief that humanity stands a chance of winning this war: the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger from the past whose last memory is of being on death row before awakening in this strange, new world.

"Connor must decide whether Marcus can be trusted. But as Skynet adapts new strategies to end the Resistance forever, Connor and Marcus must find common ground to take a stand against the onslaught--to infiltrate Skynet and meet the enemy head-on."

KING CITY FROM TOKYOPOP, IMAGE COMICS

Image Comics has announced that Brandon Graham's King City will continue in an ongoing series presented in a deluxe, oversized format from Tokyopop and Image.

"Continuing King City has been a long time coming and I'm thrilled that Tokyopop and Image Comics are bringing it back in the best way possible," Graham said. "We're doing it as 32-page monthly issues, the first six issues remastering the original series along with as much cool new work as I can fit, in a format akin to Image's Viking. Starting with issue 7, the series will consist entirely of all-new material. This is King City looking better than I'd ever hoped -- in burly, deluxe oversized serializations."

Here's how Image describes the book:

"King City is solely populated by the weirdest of the weird including Joe, a thief-for-hire with a cat capable of becoming any tool or weapon. Amongst his friends are his co-hort, Pete, who is too busy falling in love with an alien hešs forced to betray to assist in their latest mission and Anna, who can't help but watch her boyfriend literally turn into the drug hešs addicted to."

Image Comics Publisher Eric Stephenson said, "Brandon represents a whole new generation of cartoonists coming into comics with a fresh eye for creating original material unlike anything else out there. We're excited to be working with both Brandon and Tokyopop on returning King City to the stands in a way no one has seen before."

Added Mike Kiley, senior VP at Tokyopop, "ŗWe're very happy that Brandon's amazing book is going to appear in this deluxe format. I'm especially looking forward to seeing Earthling J. Catingsworth III in all his over-sized glory."

King City #1, a 32-page black-and-white oversized comic book for $2.99, will be in stores on August 19.
