TEEN TITANS MARATHON ON BOOMERANG

Cable network Boomerang will stage a marathon of Teen Titans episodes on Monday.

Twenty-nine episodes of the series, which launched in 2003, will air uninterrupted from noon to midnight (ET).

Among the highlighted episodes are "How Long Is Forever?" at noon, "Date with Destiny" at 2:05 p.m., "Betrayal" at 3:45 p.m. and "Aftershock: Part One" at 4:35 p.m.

"A Teen Titans marathon is the perfect way to ring in the summer," said Stacy Isenhower, senior vice president of programming and scheduling for Boomerang and Cartoon Network. "Teen Titans shows us that we can be capable of great things while still having a little fun."

BRIEFLY

* Hero Initiative has announced a July 29 release for Hero Comics, a 32-page fundraising comic book edited by IDW Publishing's Scott Dunbier and featuring covers by J. Scott Campbell and Matt Wagner.

The book will include an original American Flagg! story by Howard Chaykin, and original stories by Gene Ha, Bill Willingham, David Lloyd, and Kaare Andrews. In addition, Arthur Adams will recreate three classic Marvel Comics covers, and Hero Initiative beneficiaries such as Gene Colan, Bill Messner-Loebs and Josh Medors will tell their own personal stories, detailing their struggles, and Herošs involvement.
