THE HUMAN TARGET ROUNDUP

Tricia Helfer from Battlestar Galactica guest-stars as the client in the pilot for Fox's The Human Target series.

Helfer plays the engineer of a high-tech train whose life has been threatened. Most of the action in the epiosde takes place on the train.

Helfer, who played Number Six in Battlestar Galactica, is also involved in voiceover animation projects. She plays Black Cat in The Spectacular Spider-Man, Boodikka in Green Lantern: First Flight and a yet-to-be-announced role in Marvel Super Hero Squad.

In other Human Target news, the pilot will be screened at Comic-Con International on Wednesday, July 22 during a presentation from Warner Bros. Television.

A panel for the show is scheduled for Saturday, July 25 at 4:45 p.m. Series stars Mark Valley, Chi McBride and Jackie Earle Haley are scheduled to attend, along with executive producers Jon Steinberg, Brad Kern and Peter Johnson.

* The Upper Deck Company has announced a long-term licensing agreement with Marvel Entertainment. The multi-year arrangement provides Upper Deck with the rights to produce trading card games , miniature games and trading cards based on the Marvel Universe. The first wave of products is scheduled to hit the market in January.

* The voice cast of Superman/Batman: Public Enemies includes Kevin Conroy as Batman, Tim Daly as Superman and Clancy Brown as Lex Luthor.
