BLUEWATER PRODUCTIONS FOR OCTOBER

Bluewater Productions has provided The Continuum its solicitations for October.

For a rundown, with images, CLICK HERE.

BLUEWATER TO PUBLISH MICHAEL JACKSON COMIC

Bluewater Productions has announced it will publish a Michael Jackson biography comic book in October.

Jackson, the "King of Pop" who sold millions of records and is considered the most influential and popular musical performer of the 1980s, died on Thursday at the age of 50.

"Michael Jackson's music served as the soundtrack to countless lives...including mine," said Bluewater president Darren G. Davis, ³His influence on our culture has been profound."

The comic, Tribute: Michael Jackson, King of Pop, is being written by Wey-Yuih Loh and illustrated by Giovanni Timpano. It will feature a wraparound cover and foreword by The Official Michael Jackson Fan Clubıs Giuseppe Mazzola, a friend of Jackson's, and an alternate wraparound cover by Vinnie Tartamella.

According to Davis, he initially "waffled" at producing the tribute comic, but received e-mails and phone calls in support of the project.

"This is a celebration of his life and what he meant to a legion of fans," Davis said. "Although the book won't shy away from some of his personal troubles, we try to tell a balanced story that shows Jackson as a musical genius, an unparalleled superstar and as a complex person."
