GREEN LANTERN: FIRST FLIGHT VOICES

John Larroquette is providing the voice of Tomar Re in Green Latnern: First Flight, the animated movie scheduled for a July 27 release on DVD and Blu-ray from Warner Home Video.

Larroquette, probably best known from Night Court, has worked with WArner Bros. Animation before, providing the voice of Mirror Master in The Batman.

Kurtwood Smith -- from That 70s Show and most recently Worst Week -- provides the voice of Kanjar Ro. His animation credits include Agent Bennett in Batman Beyond and its spin-off, The Zeta Project.

David Lander -- Squiggy from Laverne and Shirley -- provides the voice of Ch'p. His animation credits include Superman: The Animated Series and Batman: The Animated Series.

Green Lantern: First Flight will have its world premiere at Comic-Con International in San Diego on Thursday, July 23.

BRIEFLY

* DC Comics has announced Lobo: Highway to Hell, a two-issue mini-series written by Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, with art by Sam Kieth.

The Prestige Format series will launch in November.

* Marvel Comics has announced a second printing for the sold-out Dark Wolverine #75. The new printing features a new cover by Giuseppe Camuncoli and will be in stores on August 5.

* Image Comics has announced that the final arc of The Sword, by Joshua Luna and Jonathan Luna, will begin in August.

"From the moment we started working on this series, wešve always had a very specific ending in mind," Joshua Luna said. "So, it's been incredibly fun, dropping little hints and working towards the payoff, issue by issue. I think readers will be surprised to see how it ends."

The final arc runs in The Sword #19-24.
