IRON MAN: ARMORED ADVENTURES: "HIDE AND SEEK"

Nicktoons has released a description and image from "Hide and Seek," the episode of Iron Man: Armored Adventures that premieres on Friday at 7 p.m. (ET/PT).

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Tony and Gene find the third Makluan Ring, but this time Tony plays it smart without awakening the ringšs guardian, Tony takes the ring back to the city to study. But Gene has other ideas and in order to possess the ring's power; he activates the guardian, Ultimo.

"But Ultimo isn't interested in Gene, it only wants the ring. And now, not only does Iron Man have to deal with a giant robot in New York, he's also about to have a rematch with the Mandarin."

WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN: "BADLANDS"

Nicktoons has released a description and image from "Badlands," the episode of Wolverine and the X-Men that premieres on Friday at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Logan finds out the hard way just how easily his actions in the present can impact the future when he's temporarily captured by Trask, who has the chance to examine him. Because of this, the future gains a new breed of Sentinel -- the Tracker, designed with the same attributes and abilities as Wolverine.

"These Trackers pursue Charles Xavier and some of his future X-Men into the Badlands, a massive area of desert cut right into civilization. But when they get to the center of it, they discover something even more powerful and dangerous than any of Master Mold's Sentinels."

* Marvel Comics has announced a second printing for the sold-out Deadpool #12. The new printing will be in stores on Sept. 16 and will feature Paco Medina's interior art on the cover.

* According to The Hollywood Reporter, Christopher McQuarrie has been tapped to write the next Wolverine movie.

* According to Variety, Jason Patric has joined the cast of The Losers movie. Patric will play Max, the CIA agent who sets up The Losers.

* According to Variety, Universal Pictures has acquired the film rights to Steve Niles' Criminal Macabre, published by Dark Horse. Kyle Ward will write the script.
