DAN PARENT TALKS VERONICA #196

Archie Comics continues to tap pop culture with singer Colbie Caiilat guest-starring in next week's Veronica #196.

Dan Parent, who wrote and drew the issue, said that Caillat approved the script and her likeness for the issue.

"You have to sort of wing that, and hope it works out," he said of adapting the singer into comics. "I'd seen interviews with her and heard her speak, so I had a rough idea of her demeanor."
