TORONTO FAN EXPO: MARVEL COMICS

Marvel Comics unveiled new projects at its panels at Fan Expo in Toronto.

Following are highlights:

* Amazing Spider-Man Presents Jackpot will be a three-issue series launching in January from writer Mark Guggeheim and artist Adriana Melo.

* Kaine returns in Amazing Spider-Man #608.

* The Pet Avengers return in February, with the creative team behind Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers, writer Chris Eliopoulos and Ig Guara, also returning for the new limited series.

* X-Men: Pixie Strikes Back launches in December from writer Kathryn Immonen and artist Sara Pichellie.

* X-Factor gets the renumbering treatment with X-Factor #200, as Peter David returns the team to New York City.

* Another round of What If? books arrive in December.

What If? Spider-Man: House of M will feature "What If Gwen Stacy Survived the House of M?" written by Sean McKeever, and "What If Gwen and Richie Parker Existed Outside the House of M?"

What If? Secret Invasion will feature "What If the Skrulls Won?" written by Kevin Grevioux and Karl Bollers and "What If the Secret Invasion Stayed Secret" written by Chris Acosta.

What If? World War Hulk will feature "What If the Heroes Lost World War Hulk" written by Mike Raicht and "What If Thor Returned During World War Hulk?" written by Mike Gallagher.

What If? Daredevil vs. Elektra will feature "What If Daredevil Died and Was Resurrected By the Hand?" written by Bollers.

What If? Astonishing X-Men will feature "What If Jean Grey Had Returned from the Dead?" written by Jim McCann and "What If Danger Became Ultron's Bride?" written by Matteo Casali.

* World War Hulks: Alpha #1 reaches stores in December. The one-shot is written by Jeff Parker, with art by Paul Pelletier. It will set up 2010's event and will focus on the Intelligencia.
