FIRST LOOK: DOOM PATROL #2
Doom Patrol #2 will arrive in stores on Sept. 10 from DC Comics. The issue is written by Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis, with art by Matt Clark, John Livesay and Kevin Maguire and covers by Clark and Maguire.
Here's how DC describes the issue:
"It's a black hole, but it's not a black hole. If you're a Doom Patrol fan, that made perfect sense. And even if not, then you're in for one hell of a ride as the Doom Patrol face off against the most annoying alien this side of G'nort. Who's G'nort? What, do we have to spoon-feed this stuff to you? Oh, and we send the Metal Men into space. Just because."
Doom Patrol #2 will be 40 pages and will cost $3.99.

FIRST LOOK: FABLES #88
Fables #88 will arrive in stores on Sept. 16 from DC Comics. The issue is written by Bill Willingham, with art by Mark Buckingham and Steve Leialoha and a cover by Joao Ruas.
Here's how DC describes the issue:
"'Witches,' part 2 of 5! As Bufkin and Baba Yaga battle it out, Beauty and the Beast make a startling discovery that will greatly affect their future and the entire fate of Fabletown. Only Frau Totenkinder knows the truth about the horror that is to come...and she's not exactly telling."
