SMALLVILLE: "METALLO"

The CW has released a description and gallery of images from "Metallo," the Friday, Oct. 2 episode of Smallville.
Here's how the network describes the episode:
"After being struck by a truck, John Corben (guest star Brian Austin Green) wakes up alone in an abandoned apartment as a man-machine with a Kryptonite heart. Corben realizes he now has superhuman strength and sets out to exact revenge on the Red-Blue Blur, who he perceives to be an irresponsible vigilante. Against Clark's (Tom Welling) wishes, Lois (Erica Durance) involves herself in the Red-Blue Bluršs investigation, and winds up getting kidnapped by Corben."
The episode was written by Don Whitehead and Holly Henderson and was directed by Marizee Almas.

* Marvel Comics has announced second printings for the sold-out Deadpool #14 and Deadpool #15.
The second printing Deadpool #14 will feature the interior art of Shawn Crystal on the cover and will be in stores on Oct. 7.
The second printing Deadpool #15 will feature the interior art of Paco Medina on the cover and will be in stores on Oct. 15.
* Whiteout placed sixth at the box office on its opening day on Friday with an estimated $1.7 million.
