FIRST LOOK: ARMY OF DARKNESS: ASH SAVES OBAMA #2

Army of Darkness: Ash Saves Obama #2 will arrive in stores on Sept. 2 from Dynamite Entertainment. The issue is written by Elliott Serrano, with art by Ariel Padilla and covers by Todd Nauck and Parillo.

Here's how Dynamite describes the issue:

"After surviving the Necro-Comic-Con 2009, our hero, Ashley J. Williams, wakes to (drum roll please) Dawn of the Dorks. The President has been sold a piece of the Necronomicon, so what's a chosen one to do? Find out in the second chapter of Army of Darkness: Ash Saves Obama!"

Army of Darkness: Ash Saves Obama #2 will be 32 pages and will cost $3.50.

FIRST LOOK: ATHENA #1

Athena #1 will arrive in stores on Sept. 2 from Dynamite Entertainment. The issue is written by Doug Murray, with art by Paul Renaud and Fabiano Neves and covers by by Neves, Renaud, Patrick Berkenkotter and Dennis Calero.

Here's how Dynamite describes the issue:

"The goddess Athena is reborn into our world! Each issue will feature a special flashback sequence from Paul Renaud, with modern-day sequences illustrated by Fabiano Neves! The series also kicks off with a special flip sequence featuring the meeting of the Obama Family and the Goddess Athena!"
