SMALLVILLE: "RABID"

The CW has released a description of "Rabid," the Friday, Oct. 9 episode of Smallville.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Zod (Callum Blue) and his soldiers release a virus into the air that turns humans into zombies.  The only way to stop it is to make an antidote from the blood of another Kryptonian.  After Lois (Erica Durance) is infected, Chloe (Allison Mack) pleads with Clark (Tom Welling) to donate his blood to stop the epidemic, even though it risks outing him to Zod."

The episode was written by Jordan Hawley and was directed by Michael Rohl.

HEROES: "INK," "ACCEPTANCE" AND "HYSTERICAL BLINDNESS"

NBC has released descriptions of three upcoming episodes of Heroes: "Ink," "Acceptance" and "Hysterical Blindess,"

Here's how the network describes "Ink," which is schedule to air on Monday, Sept. 28:

"Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) faces unexpected consequences for his heroic acts and encounters a reluctant new hero (guest star Deanne Bray). As Claire (Hayden Panettiere) continues to adjust to college life, she must figure out how to deal with her ability having been revealed. Meanwhile, Samuel (Robert Knepper) moves heaven and earth to recapture the memories of his late brother Joseph. Elsewhere, Matt (Greg Grunberg) struggles with his internal demons as Sylar (Zachary Quinto) mysteriously resurfaces."

Here's how the network describes "Acceptance," which is schedule to air on Monday, Oct. 5.

"As Hiro's (Masi Oka) life continues to hang in the balance, he distracts himself with saving the lives of others. Meanwhile, Angela (Cristine Rose) tries to help the new 'Nathan' (Adrian Pasdar) remember his past, at the risk of his remembering too much. Elsewhere, Tracy (Ali Larter) is determined to get her old job back, but soon realizes that she needs to make more of an impact."

Here's how the network describes "Hysterical Blindess," which is schedule to air on Monday, Oct. 12:

"Samuel (Robert Knepper) prepares for new additions to his family, while Lydia (guest star Dawn Olivieri) warns him of the consequences. Claire (Hayden Panettiere) discovers that her roommate Gretchen (guest star Madeline Zima) may have a hidden agenda. Meanwhile, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) finds an unexpected way to connect with Emma (guest star Deanne Bray), who would prefer to stay distant. BRIEFLY

* Promoting her new film Jennifer's Body, Megan Fox appeared on NBC's The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien on Thursday night.

Fox, who is starring in next summer's Jonah Hex, described her experiences at Comic-Con International in San Diego, noting the first time that she was at the convention, she went largely unnoticed because she isn't very tall.
