IRON MAN: ARMORED ADVENTURES: "PEPPER, INTERRUPTED"

Nicktoons has released five images and a description from "Pepper, Interrupted," the Friday, Sept. 25 episode of Iron Man: Armored Adventures.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Pepper realizes if she wants to keep Tony as a friend, she has to learn to start liking Gene Khan. Which is really inconvenient for Gene, because hešs busy trying to negotiate peace as the Mandarin between his Tong forces and the Maggia.

"And of course Pepper lands smack in the middle of it. Now Gene has to somehow save Pepper from Count Nefaria and the Black Knight, all while keeping his own secret from everyone. Solution? Call Iron Man."

BLUEWATER PRODUCTIONS' JAILBAIT

Bluewater Productions has announced an early 2010 launch for Jailbait, a comic-book series written by Mary Jo Pehl, formerly of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Here's how Bluewater describes Jailbait:

"Written as a tongue-in-cheek B-movie serial, Jailbait follows the adventures of an all-female undercover organization looking to hunt down predatory perverts by any means necessary and prevent children from becoming targets. It has been described as To Catch a Predator meets Charliešs Angels meets Ed Wood's The Violent Years."

Pehl -- who was a writer and played Pearl Forrester in Mystery Science Theater 3000 -- is teamed with artist Alejandro Figueroa and cover artist Azim Akberal.

"The story may be firmly rooted in satire and Mary Jo's unique humor will be keep you laughing, but it has a serious message about keeping kids safe from predators, both online and off," said Bluewater president and title creator Darren G. Davis. "In each issue we will provide information on important resources parents and children need to know, phone numbers of organizations and law enforcement."

"Therešs a great story there to be told, and I hope to do it with honesty, accuracy and humor and well-rounded characterizations," said Pehl, who is currently a writer/producer for the direct-to-DVD comedy series, Cinematic Titanic.
