FIRST LOOK: BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER SEASON 8 #29

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8 #29 will arrive in stores on Oct. 7 from Dark Horse Comics. The issue is written by Jane Espenson, with art by Georges Jeanty and covers by Massimo Carnevale and Jeanty.

Here's how Dark Horse describes the issue:

"'Retreat,' part 4. Oz's temple in the Tibetan mountains is no longer a safe retreat for Buffy and her troops. Discovered by Twilight's magical agent, Amy, and bereft of their own magic, the army is preparing for a human war with guns, grenades, missiles . . . and Manpads -- it's not a laughing matter. People are about to die.

Star Wars: Invasion #4 will arrive in stores on Oct. 7 from Dark Horse Comics. The issue is written by Tom Taylor, with art by Colin Wilson and a cover by Jo Chen.

Here's how Dark Horse describes the issue:

Witchfinder: In the Service of Angels #4 will arrive in stores on Oct. 7 from Dark Horse Comics. The issue is written by John Ostrander, with art by Jan Duursema and a cover by Dan Scott.
