IRON MAN: ARMORED ADVENTURES UPCOMING EPISODES

Nicktoons has released descriptions and images from the next three episodes of Iron Man: Armored Adventures.

Following is a rundown:

"TECHNOVORE," on Friday, Oct. 9

In a moment of anger, Tony created a weapon -- a computer virus called Technovore. It was supposed to destroy itself when it completed its objective, but it didnšt. Instead, the virus grew, spawned a horrific body, and began to hunger. It consumes every piece of technology that it comes across, growing and adapting as it prepares to go out into the world. That is, unless Iron Man and Rhodey can stop it. But where most villains see Iron Man as a challenge... Technovore sees him as a snack.

"WORLD ON FIRE," on Friday, Oct. 16

The fourth Makluan Ring has been found, and when Tony, Rhodey and Pepper rush off to collect it, Gene is left behind. And while Gene tries to track down his "friends," he's left alone with memories of his mother, the person who introduced him to his destiny... his birthright... the Makluan Rings. Actually claiming that birthright isn't so easy though, which Tony is finding out first hand. He's facing the fourth Guardian... the Fireband.

"DESIGNED ONLY FOR CHAOS," on Friday, Oct. 23

The Living Laser is dying, and Tony Stark is trying to save his life. But fate has other plans... the Ghost has been hired by AIM to "steal" the Laser. AIM needs him to be a power source for their greatest creation, and when Iron Man arrives to rescue the Laser, he's too late... the Mental Organism Designed Only for Conquest is online. Not even Iron Man can withstand MODOC's mental power, and now his fate rests in the hands of the Living Laser... but will the Laser choose to save Tony Stark? Or destroy Iron Man?

THE SIMPSONS: "TREEHOUSE OF HORROR XX"

Fox has released a description for its annual Halloween episode of The Simpsons.

"Treehouse of Horror XX" will air on Sunday, Oct. 18.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"In the 20 th anniversary of The Simpsons annual 'Treehouse of Horror'Halloween special, three chilling tales of Halloween horror unwind. First, Lisa becomes livid with Miss Hoover, and in a series of homages to classic Hitchcock, sets out for deadly revenge. Next, Krusty's latest fast-food sandwich transforms news anchor Kent Brockman into an enraged zombie and 28 days later, cannibal zombies have overrun Springfield. In the final frightening fable, Homer accidentally falls through a trapdoor in Moe's tavern and impales himself on the pipes of Moe's microbrewery. Moe serves the barflies a glass of delicious beer flavored with Homeršs blood and Homer, now half-man, half-brewing apparatus, returns for vengeance."
