JONAH HEX ORIGINAL GRAPHIC NOVEL

DC Comics has announced a May release for Jonah Hex: No Way Back, a 136-page original graphic novel.

The book will be written by the team from the monthly Jonah Hex series -- Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti -- and will feature art by Tony DeZuniga.

The story will involve Jonah Hex's brother.

"The cool thing about this graphic novel is that we get to work with Tony again, and we get to tell a really big story all in one book," Palmiotti told The Continuum. "It's 136 pages of Jonah from cover to cover and we hope this is a gateway for people not familiar with the character to give the monthly a try. It's the right time as well to release a project like this with the movie coming this summer. We couldn't be happier with the way DC Comics is supporting the book."

Jonah Hex: No Way Back will cost $19.99.
