FOX ANNOUNCES MID-SEASON PLANSFox has announced its mid-seasons plans, including the beginning of Human Target and the end of Dollhouse.
Following is a rundown:
Human Target: The series, based on the DC Comics property, will launch on Sunday, Jan. 17 following an NFC Divisional Playoff football game at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).
The show, starring Mark Valley, then moves into its regular time period of Wednesday at 9 p.m. on Jan. 20, where it will follow American Idol.

Dollhouse: The finale of the Joss Whedon series will air Friday, Jan. 22 at 9 p.m., following two new episodes on Friday, Jan. 8.
The Simpsons: Fox will present a special Simpsons event on Sunday Jan. 20, beginning at 8 p.m. with the series' 450th episode, "Once Upon a Time in Springfield," in which Bart and Milhouse try to help Krusty regain his popularity after network executives force him to restructure the format of his television show by hiring a female sidekick, Princess Penelope (guest voice Anne Hathaway).
Following that is the one-hour special, The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special: In 3-D! On Ice!, a documentary from Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Morgan Spurlock.
Family Guy: New episodes resume on Sunday, Jan. 31.
HEROES: "THE FIFTH STAGE"NBC has released eight images from "The Fifth Stage," the Monday, Nov. 30 episode of Heroes.
Here's how the network describes the episode:
"H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) is greeted by some unexpected visitors and Samuelšs (Robert Knepper) grand plan begins to come to fruition.
"Meanwhile, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) struggles to accept the truth and takes extreme measures to get what he wants. Elsewhere, Clairešs (Hayden Panettiere) journey leads her to an unexpected destination."

KAT DENNINGS JOINS THOR CAST Marvel Studios has announced that Kat Dennings has joined the cast of the Thor movie.
Marvel did not specify her role, but reports indicate she will play Darcy, a colleague of Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman.
Dennings, 23, is best known from Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist.
She joins a cast that also includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki , Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Stuart Townsend as Fandral, Tadanobu Asano as Hogun and Ray Stevenson as Volstagg.
Production is expected to begin in January.
ARCHIE COMICS FIRST LOOKSFor covers and seven- to eight-page previews of Archie Comics titles arriving in stores on Dec. 3, CLICK HERE.
