MARVEL COMICS ROUNDUP

Marvel Comics has announced X-Factor Forever, a five-issue mini-series that launches in March.

The series will be written by Louise Simonson, with art and covers by Dan Panosian.

Here's how Marvel describes the series:

"Once they were Xavier's young charges: mutant teens who bore the responsibility of protecting a world that hated them. But time has hardened these five X-Men , forcing them to reimagine their mission and purpose. And now, the original dream-team returns to fight the one threat that's haunted them since the day they took on the X-Factor name."

In other Marvel news:

* Breaking into Comics: The Marvel Way will be a two-issue anthology series shipping in March. Each issues runs 56 pages and showcases six of 12 finalists from the nearly 2-year-long talent search headed by Marvel's C.B. Cebulski.

Artists for the first issue include Michele Bertilorenzi, Paul Davidson, Serena Ficca, Damion Hendricks, Christian Nauck, Joe Suitor, Gabriel Hernandez Walta, Shaun Turnbull, Stephen Thompson and Tomasso Bennato.

* Peter Parker #1 will be a 48-page one shot in March, written by Bob Gale, with art by Patrick Olliffe and a cover by Rafael Albequerque.
