UNCANNY X-MEN: RETURN OF KITTY PRYDE VIDEO

Marvel Comics has released a video to signal the return of Kitty Pryde in Uncanny X-Men #522 in March.

IDW PUBLISHING FIRST LOOKS

THOR MOVIE STARTS PRODUCTION

Marvel Studios has announced it has commenced principal photography on the Thor feature film, which will be released by Paramount Pictures on May 6, 2011.

Thor is being directed by Kenneth Branagh.

The cast include Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Renee Russo as Frigga, Ray Stevenson as Volstagg, Tadanobu Asano as Hogun, Josh Dallas as Fandral, Jaimie Alexander as Sif, Idris Elba as Heimdall, as well as Colm Feore, Kat Dennings and Stellan Skarsgard.

Here's how Marvel describes the film:

"The epic adventure Thor spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth."

Thor's screenplay was written by Mark Protosevich, Ashley Miller, Zack Stentz and Don Payne. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige will produce. Alan Fine, Stan Lee, David Maisel, and Louis D'Esposito, will executive produce.



LEGION: WRITER/DIRECTOR SCOTT STEWART

The Continuum today finishes Kate Jewell's two-part interview with Scott Stewart, director and writer of Legion.

In this part, Stewart discusses his affinity for comic books and provides an update on his upcoming comic-book movie Priest.

FAMILY GUY MARKS 150 EPISODES

Fox has announced it will air a special 150th episode of Family Guy on Sunday, May 2 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT).

The 150th episode will be "Brian and Stewie" and wlll feature characters voiced by series creator Seth MacFarlane.

Here's how Fox describes the episode:

"When the pair get locked in a bank vault, they are forced to deal with each other on a whole new level. Unlike any other Family Guy episode, the acts will play out in real time as Brian and Stewie react to being locked in a small space with no baby food or martinis to keep them from losing their minds while they hatch an escape plan."
