IDW PUBLISHING'S KILL SHAKESPEARE

IDW Publishing has announced it will launch its new comics series, Kill Shakespeare, at WonderCon in San Francisco on April 2-4.

Conceived and written by Canadian creators Conor McCreery and Anthony Del Col, the 12-issue series is a dark take on the Bard and his work, pitting his greatest heroes against his most menacing villains.

The series will launch with a 32-page, ad-free first issue, and McCreery and Del Col will host an exclusive signing and panel at WonderCon.

Kill Shakespeare will feature art by Andy Belander and first-issue covers be Belander and Kagan McLeod.

During The Continuum's recent visit to IDW in San Diego, Kate Jewell talked to editor Tom Waltz about the series.
