NEW BATMAN, STAR WARS EPISODES IN MARCH

New episodes of Batman: The Brave and the Bold and Star Wars: The Clone Wars will resume in March on Cartoon Network.

The rescheduled "The Super-Batman of Planet X!" episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold will air on Friday, March 26.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Batman lands on this distant planet Zurr En Arrh and finds a doppleganger Batman, but more surprisingly, on this planet the Caped Crusader has super powers! Together they battle the mad genius Rhotul, who soon learns Batman's super weakness."

The "Senate Murders" episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will air on Friday, March 19.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"When Senator Onaconda Farr dies under suspicious circumstances, Padme sets out to find the person responsible for the death of her favorite 'uncle.'"

The "Cat and Mouse" episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will air on Friday, March 26.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Obi-Wan and Anakin must deliver troops to Christophsis while the planet is under Separatist control. They encounter Separatist Commander Admiral Trench and get more than they bargained for."



HUMAN TARGET: "SALVAGE & RECLAMATION"

Fox has released a description and seven image from "Salvage and Reclamation," the Wednesday, March 10 episode of Human Target.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Chance reunites with a fiery former flame when he is called to South America to rescue an archeologist whose discovery of a lost treasure makes him the target of a South American army and a deadly bounty hunter."

Leonor Varela guest-stars as Maria. Varela's credits include Nyssa in 2002's Blade II.

In other Human Target nets, FX will air a marathon of episodes beginning Saturday at 2 p.m.

Episodes include "Pilot" at 2 p.m., "Rewind" at 3 p.m., "Embassy Row" at 4 p.m., "Sanctuary" at 5 p.m., "Run" at 6 p.m. and "Lockdown" at 7 p.m.





THE SIMPSONS: "STEALING FIRST BASE"

Angela Bassett and Sarah Silverman are providing guest-voices for "Stealing First Base," the Sunday, March 21 episode of The Simpsons on Fox.

Fox has also released two images from the episode. Click on the thumbnais for larger images.

Bassett provides the voice of First Lady Michelle Obama. In the episode, Lisa's classmates ostracize her for being an overachiever but the First Lady Michelle Obama comes to Lisa's defense.

Also, Bart's crush Nikki -- voiced by Silverman -- sends him mixed signals when she surprises him with a kiss.

* According to Variety, Warner Bros. is in negotitations with David Goyer to write a new Superman move. Goyer wrote all three Blade movies, worked with Christoper Nolan on Batman Begins and The Dark Knight and has worked on scripts for X-Men Origins: Magneto and a second Ghost Rider movie.
