THE SUPER HERO SQUAD SHOW: BUCKY

Rod Keller will be providing the voice of Bucky in Season 2 of Cartoon Network's The Super Hero Squad Show, The Continuum has learned.

Keller has a small part in this summer's Jonah Hex movie. His credits also include He's Just Not That Into You and Showtime's Dexter.

Bucky was unveiled as a character for Season 2 at the Marvel Animation panel at C2E2 in Chicago last weekend. Also shown were Captain Marvel, Zeus and Hercules.

Marvel's Joe Quesada, a co-executive producer on the series, said that Season 2 will have a larger scale than Season 1, including time travel.

Bucky's appearance is in a story in which Scarlet Witch travels back to World War 2. Captain America and Toro will also appear in the episode.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

Lois (Erica Durance) and Perry realize they are both working on the same story about the Red Queen, and decide to team up, which ultimately puts them in serious danger.

"Chloe (Allison Mack) helps Clark search for the Book of Rao, which they believe contains information on how to stop Zod (Callum Blue) and his army."

Glen Winter directed the episode, which was written by Jordan Hawley and Anne Cofell Saunders.
