FRIDAY BOX OFFICEIron Man 2's two-week run on top of the box office ended on Friday, but the sequel still finished second.
Iron Man 2 brought in an estimated $7.5 million to trail only the $20.7 million posted by Shrek Forever After in its opening day.
The Friday numbers pushed Iron Man 2's domestic total to $232.1 million.
Iron Man 2 is expected to pass X-Men: The Last Stand's $234.3 million and become No. 5 among Marvel films at the box office.
The top four are Spider-Man with $403.7 million, Spider-Man 2 with $373.6 million, Spider-Man with $336.5 million and Iron Man with $318.4 millin.
