Marvel Comics has announced Thursday, July 8 as X-Men Day in conjunction with the release of X-Men #1.
Marvel will offer such commemorative items as the limited-edition cover print featuring Paco Medina's "We Are The X-Men" images, exclusive variants and mini-posters. There will also be a blank variant to X-Men #1.
In other Marvel news:
* Marvel has announced Iron Man By Design 2.0 variant covers.
Shown above are the variant covers for Invincible Iron Man 27, by Ronnie Del Carmen, in stores on June 9; and Iron Man: Legacy #3, by Bill Presing, in stores on June 23; Avengers #2, by Alan Aldridge, in stores on June 23; and Invincible Iron Man Annual #1, by Genndy Tartakovsky, in stores on June 20.

* The publisher has announced that X-Factor #205 and X-Men Legacy #236 have sold out and will get second printings.
Both issues are part of the Second Coming event. The second printings will be in stores on June 16.

DAVID SCHWARTZ TALKS FATHOM: BLUE DESCENT
Fathom: Blue Descent #0 arrives in stores on Wednesday, kicking off a new chapter for Aspen Comics' flagship character.
