DC SHOWCASE: JONAH HEXWarner Home Video has released the first three images from the DC Showcase animated short Jonah Hex.
The short will appear as abonus feature on the Special Edition Blu-Ray and 2-Disc Special Edition DVD release of Batman: Under the Red Hood on July 27.
The voice cast of Jonah Hex features Thomas Jane, Linda Hamilton, Michaelle Trachtenberg and Michael Rooker.
Jonah Hex is written by Joe Lansdale and directed by Joaquim dos Santos.
Here's how the short is described:
"The tough-as-nails bounty hunter Jonah Hex always gets his man - until someone else gets to him first - in this case a murderous madam who wants to steal more than just her bounty from Jonah Hex."

MARVEL COMICS ROUNDUPMarvel Comics has announced that three books written by Jeph Loeb -- Hulk #22, Ultimate Comics X #2 and New Ultimates #2 -- have sold out and are getting second printings.
All three second printings will be in stoers on June 16.
In other Marvel news:
* Tony Moore is the artist of Franken-Castle #19.
* Tom Grummett is providing a cover for X-Men Forever 2 #2 that was orignally solicited as the cover to #3.
* Deadpool #25 will be 40 pages and will cost $3.99.
* Ultimate Comics Avengers 2 will run six issues.
DARK HORSE COMICS FIRST LOOKSFor covers and four- to five-page previews of Dark Horse Comics titles arriving in stores on June 3, CLICK HERE.
Titles include Conan the Cimmerian #21 and Serenity: Float Out.

BRIEFLY* Viper Comics has announced that veteran comics writer Howard Mackie has become a contributing editor.
According to Viper, Mackie will also be writing for the publisher.
Mackie's comics career dates back to the mid-1980s, when he served as an assistant editor at Marvel Comics. He has written such titles for Marvel as Ghost Rider, Hearts of Darkness, Web of Spider-Man, X-Factor and Mutant X. Last fall, he teamed with Tom DeFalco on Marvel's Spider-Man: Clone Saga.
* Image Comics has announces a distribution-level sell out of The Light #1 and #2.
The two sold out issues will be collected under an all-new cover. Release of The Light Bumper Edition will coincide with the release of The Light #3 on June 9.
