FIRST LOOK: X-23 #1

X-23 #1 will arrive in stores on Sept. 15 from Marvel Comics. The issue is written by Majorie Liu, with art by Will Conrad and covers by Danni Shinya Luo, Marko Djurdjevic, Gabriele Dell'Otto and Jelena Kevic-Djurdjevic.

Here's how Marvel describes the issue:

"X-23 must come to terms with the damage caused by the events of Second Coming. The death of several of her teammates has taken its toll on the young mutant, but when Wolverine is taken out of the picture -- she must learn to carry on. With the X-Men down a metal-clawed mutant, can X-23 fill Logan's shoes?"

X-23 #1 will be 32 pages and will cost $3.99.
