In the middle of the display is the corpse of Abin Sur.

COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL: BOOM! STUDIOS/STAN LEEAt Comic-Con International in San Diego on Wednesday, POW! Entertainment and BOOM! Studios revealed the characters, series and creative teams for three superhero titles to be published by Stan Lee and BOOM! Studios this fall.
The three titles are:
* Soldier Zero, written by Paul Cornell with art Javier Pina, tells the story of a wheelchair-using astronomy teacher who finds himself in a freak accident that bonds him with an alien weapon of war.
* The Traveler, written by BOOM! Studios Chief Creative Officer Mark Waid with art by Chad Hardin, features a mysterious new superhero with time-traveling powers battling the Split-Second Men, super-powered assassins from the future.
* Starborn, written by Chris Roberson with art by Khary Randolph, tells the story of a regular guy who discovers he's the heir to an intergalactic empire, putting him the center of a war between five alien races.
At the press conference, Lee showed the designs for all three characters and the covers for October's Soldier Zero by Trevor Hairsine and Dave Johnson. Soldier Zero No. 1 will also be shipping with a special cover signed by Lee.

THE WALKING DEAD ADDS CAST AMC has announced that it has signed on Michael Rooker and Norman Reedus to star in the
The Walking Dead.
The actors will play brothers Merle Dixon (Rooker) and Daryl Dixon (Reedus), one a
redneck ex-con and the other equally as dangerous. Based on the comic
book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics,
AMCÕs The Walking Dead is currently in production in Atlanta, GA, and
is scheduled to premiere this October during AMC Fearfest, the network's
annual blockbuster marathon of thriller and horror films.
RookerÕs credits include such films as The Bone Collector and
Slither, as well as an award-winning role in Henry: Portrait of a Serial
Killer, the shocking true story of Henry Lee Lucas. Reedus is best
known for his role in the cult movie The Boondock Saints and most
recently, he starred in the sci-fi feature thriller Pandorum with Dennis
Quaid and Ben Foster. He can be seen next in The Conspirator, directed
by Robert Redford and co-starring James McAvoy, Robin Wright Penn and
Kevin Kline.
Additional new cast members of The Walking Dead include Andrew
Rothenberg (Jim), Juan Pareja (Morales), Iron E. Singleton (T-Dog),
Jeryl Prescott Sales (Jacqui), Melissa McBride (Carol) and Adam
Minarovich (Ed); all of whom are members of the survivor's
camp.
RED MOVIE IMAGES Summit Entertainment has released three new images from Red, based on the WildStorm comic books from Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner.
Here's how Summit describes the film:
"Frank (Bruce Willis), Joe (Morgan Freeman), Marvin (John Malkovich) and Victoria (Helen Mirren) used to be the CIAÕs top agents Ð but the secrets they know just made them the AgencyÕs top targets. Now framed for assassination, they must use all of their collective cunning, experience and teamwork to stay one step ahead of their deadly pursuers and stay alive. To stop the operation, the team embarks on an impossible, cross-country mission to break into the top-secret CIA headquarters, where they will uncover one of the biggest conspiracies and cover-ups in government history."

BRIEFLY* Marvel Comics has announced second printings for Amazing Spider-Man #636 and Amazing Spider-Man #637.
The second printings will feature Michael Lark's interior art on the covers and will be in stores on August 18.
