WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2010SMALLVILLE: "LAZARUS"The CW has released a gallery of images from "Lazarus," the first episode of Season 10 of Smallville.
The episode -- scheduled for Friday, Sept. 24 -- marks the return of John Schneider as Jonathan Kent.
"It's like I've been in a coma and I came back," Schneider said. "To be able to be back among people that I not only care about, but truly love, it's the greatest feeling. I was not prepared to feel as emotional and to feel as welcomed and to feel at home as the minute I set foot on the Kent farm."
Schneider said he gets to do his favorite line to date in the episode, telling Tom Welling's Clark, "You could be the greatest hero the world has ever seen."
The new season will feature Darkseid as the main villain. "He's going to come in a little different form than you've seen," said executive producer Brian Peterson.
The season's fourth episode will be the show's 200th.
