SUPERMAN/BATMAN: APOCALYSPE

Warner Home Video has released a clip and four new images from the DC Universe animated movie Superman/Batman: Apocalypse.

The animated clip depicts the harried first few minutes of time on Earth for Kara, a Kryptonian cousin of Superman who has not yet understood or harnessed her powers.

HUMAN TARGET: "ILSA PUCCI"

Fox has released three new images from "Ilsa Pucci," the Season 2 premiere of Human Target scheduled for Friday, Oct. 1.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Picking up from the thrilling first season cliffhanger, Chance and Guererro stage a daring rescue of Winston from the hands of his torturous kidnappers. Two beautiful women join the team: billionaire philanthropist Ilsa Pucci, who fears for her life after the mysterious death of her husband, and Ames, a chameleon-like master thief who inadvertently becomes involved with the plot to murder her new associate."

NO ORDINARY FAMILY: "PILOT"

ABC has released a description from the "Pilot" episode of No Ordinary Family, which will premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. (ET) and will repeat on Friday, Oct. 1 at 9 p.m.

Here's how the episode is described:

"The Powell family must learn to deal with the super powers each has mysteriously acquired after the crash of their plane in the Amazon River. Jim discovers that he has the power of super strength and immediately feels a new sense of purpose and empowerment. With the aid of his best friend and confidant, George, he sets his sights on becoming a hero. Stephanie struggles to balance her family life with working 80 hours a week as an award-winning scientist, and after developing the power of speed, she can now move effortlessly through her daily responsibilities. Always the scientist, Stephanie immediately questions the phenomenon and, with the aid of her lab tech, Katie, the two begin to research the mystery behind the powers.

"For 16-year-old Daphne, she turns telepathic and hears other people's hopes, dreams, fears and joys, whether she cares to or not. And 14-year-old JJ struggles constantly to satisfy his parents and teachers as he grapples with a learning disability and bad grades. But he suddenly finds his mental abilities strengthened to a super genius level."

* Bluewater Productions has announced a spring launch for an ongoing Misadventures of Adam West title.

Here's how Bluewater describes the book:

"The Man, The Myth, The Amulet? Legendary star of the small and silver screen, Adam West, has his career youth-enized in this hip-whimsical, trans-dimensional epic of an adventure. When a mysterious fan delivers an exotic amulet to Mr. West's doorstep he is Dorothy-fied on an odyssey that will change his career, his love life and inadvertently make him the man that saves the universe!"

* The CW has released a description from "Shield," the Friday, Oct. 1 episode of Smallville.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

* After Lois (Erica Durance) departs for Egypt, the Daily Planet hires a new reporter by the name of Kat Grant (guest star Keri Lynn Pratt) to take her place. An assassin named Deadshot (guest star Bradley Stryker) takes aim at Kat but Clark learns the man has a dangerous hidden agenda that involves The Blur. Meanwhile, Carter Hall (guest star Michael Shanks) turns up in Egypt to keep an eye on Lois and he tells Lois about his wife Shayera (guest star Sahar Biniaz)."
