30 DAYS OF NIGHT: DARK DAYS CLIPS

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has released four clips from 30 Days of Night: Dark Days, the sequel due on DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday.

Here's how Sony describes the movie:

"Almost a year has passed since Barrow, Alaska's population was decimated by vampires. Stella, mourning her husband's murder, has been travelling the world trying to convince others that vampires exist. When a group of lost souls offers her a chance to exact revenge upon the vampire queen, Stella joins their mission to stop evil from striking again."

MEGAMIND WORLD RECORD EVENT

DreamWorks Animation staged a world-record event on Saturday in conjunction with the upcoming release of Megamind.

Will Ferrell, who provides the voice of the lead character, attended the event, which gathered more than 1,500 participants for the Guiness World Record attempt for most costumed superheroes.

The event took place at LA Live on Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles.

NO ORDINARY FAMILY: "NO ORDINARY MARRIAGE"

ABC has released a gallery of images from "No Ordinary Marriage," the Tuesday, Oct. 5 episode of No Ordinary Family.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Jim attempts to track down some elusive bank robbers, Stephanie looks into discovering the source of the family's newly acquired powers, and Daphne, trying to find a way keep the voices in her head from drowning out her ability to read minds, discovers that JJ has become a super genius but is hiding it from the family.

"Meanwhile, Jim and Stephanie not only keep their powers a secret from the world but from each other too, as Stephanie discovers Jim has become a crime fighter and Jim finds out that Stephanie has used her new power of speed -- after promising not to."

THE SIMPSONS: "LOAN-A-LISA"

Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg and Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus make guest-voice appearances as themselves in "Loan-a-Lisa," Sunday's new episode of The Simpsons on Fox.

Here's how Fox describes the episode:

"When Grampa gives each member of the family a portion of his savings, Lisa and Marge spend their money in drastically different ways. Lisa invests in Nelson's brand-new business venture, but soon realizes that her friend's instant success might lure him away from the classroom. Worried that his judgment might be clouded, Lisa introduces Nelson to the well-educated and successful creator of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, only to find out that he too dropped out of school. But when the soaring business suddenly takes a sharp turn, Lisa teaches her friend that education is invaluable."

SMALLVILLE ROUNDUP

The CW has released an image gallery from "Homecoming," the Friday, Oct. 15 episode of Smallville.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"In an attempt to cheer up Clark (Tom Welling), Lois (Erica Durance) convinces him to attend their five-year high school reunion. A visit back to the home of the Crows has Clark remembering old times with Lana (Kristin Kreuk) and Chloe (Allison Mack), while Lois is furious that no one remembers her five days as a student. Brainiac 5.0 (James Marsters) uses his Legion ring to visit from the future and takes Clark through his past, present and future. He shows Clark what really happened the night Jonathan died, Oliver's (Justin Hartley's) current pain and Clark's future at the Daily Planet with Lois and his role as Earth's favorite red and blue superhero."

The episode, the series' 200th, was written by Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders and was directed by Jeannot Szwarc.

* The CW has released a description from the "Isis" episode, set to air on Friday, Oct. 22.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Lois decides to tell Clark she knows he's The Blur, but she accidentally activates an ancient artifact that transforms her into the Goddess Isis, complete with superpowers of her own. Oliver and Clark reluctantly decide to ask Tess for help with Lois. Meanwhile, after Cat Grant witnesses Lois as Isis using her superpowers, she decides Lois is the Blur and sets out to prove it."

The episode was written by Genevieve Sparling and was directed by James Marshall.
