SMALLVILLE ROUNDUP

The CW has released a gallery of images from "Isis," the Friday, Oct. 22 epsiode of Smallville.

Hree's how the network describes the episode:

"Lois (Erica Durance) decides to tell Clark (Tom Welling) she knows he's The Blur, but she accidentally activates an ancient artifact that transforms her into the Goddess Isis, complete with superpowers of her own. Oliver (Justin Hartley) and Clark reluctantly decide to ask Tess (Cassidy Freeman) for help with Lois. Meanwhile, after Cat Grant (guest star Keri Lynn Pratt) witnesses Lois as Isis using her superpowers, she decides Lois is the Blur and sets out to prove it."

The episode was written by Genevieve Sparling and was directed by James Marshall.

In other Smallville news, the network has released a description from "Ambush," the Friday, Nov. 5 episode.

Hree's how the network describes the episode:

"The General (guest star Michael Ironside) and Lucy Lane (Peyton List) decide to drop in on Lois (Erica Durance) and Clark (Tom Welling) for a surprise Thanksgiving dinner. Clark and the General get off to a rocky start after Lois' father bashes the superheroes and tells Clark he is trying to pass a vigilante registration law.

"Meanwhile, in an effort to stop the vigilante registration act from being passed, Rick Flagg (guest star Ted Whittall) lies to Lucy in order to lure Clark away from the farm long enough for him to assassinate the General. Lois is torn between making her father proud and her love for Clark."

The episode was written by Don Whitehead and Holly Henderson and was directed by Turi Meyer.





BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD

"The Criss Cross Conspiracy!" episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold is now scheduled to air this month, The Continuum has learned.

Cartoon Network has scheduled the episode for Friday, Oct. 29. A previously annoucned episode, "The Mask of Matches Malone!," will be rescheduled.

Here's how "The Criss Cross Conspiracy!" episode is described:

"The long-retired Batwoman sees an opportunity for revenge against the villain who humiliated her: Riddler. In order to get back at him, she uses sorcerer Felix Faust to swap her body with Batman's."

FAMILY GUY: "BABY, YOU KNOCK ME OUT"

Fox has released 11 images from "Baby, You Knock Me Out," the Sunday, Nov. 14 episode of Family Guy.

The network has yet to release an official synopsis for the episode, but the following are highlights:

* Peter is excited when the whole gang comes together to celebrate his birthday.

* Lois dominates her competition in the boxing ring and is unbeaten, with Peter as her promoter. But she wants to hang up her gloves.

* Lois will compete in "the fight of the century," with Peter, Quagmire and Joe in her corner.

* Red placed second at the box office on its opening day on Friday. The Summit Entertainment film brought in an estimated $7.2 million to trial Jack-Ass 3D's $21.8 million.

All three of DC Comics' movies this year -- The Losers, Jonah Hex and Red -- failed to open at No. 1.
