MARVEL COMICS ROUNDUP

Marvel Comics has updated its Age of X image to include two new characters: Berserker and Nightmare.

Age of X: Alpha #1 -- written by Mike Carey, with art by Paul Davidson and others -- will be in stores on Jan. 26.

* Tom Raney is providing the art for Avengers Academy #7.

THE SIMPSONS: "HOW MUNCHED IS THAT BIRDIE IN THE WINDOW"

Professional racer Danica Patrick and Rachel Weisz are providing guest-voices for "How Munched is That Birdie in the Window," the Sunday, Nov. 28 episode of The Simpsons on Fox.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"When a pigeon flies through the Simpsons' home and suffers a broken wing, Bart makes it his duty to care for the bird -- whom he names Ray -- and nurse it back to health. When Ray is ready to fly, Homer decides to enter him in a bird race when Danica Patrick (guest-voicing as herself) appears to him in a dream. Things don't go according to plan, however, when Santa's Little Helper swallows Ray.

"Worried that Bart needs some help getting over the loss, Marge and Homer take him to a therapy session with Dr. Thurston (guest-voice Weisz), who advises that the only cure for Bart's blues is to give away the family dog. But when the Simpsons visit the pup's new home, a shock causes them to rethink their decision."

NO ORDINARY FAMILY: "NO ORDINARY VISITORS"

ABC has released a description and image gallery from "No Ordinary Visitors," Tuesday's episode of Nor Ordinary Family.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"When Stephanie's hard-to-please parents, Barbara (Cybill Shepherd) and Allan Crane, pay an unexpected visit, the Powells must curb the use of their powers for fear of giving away their secret. But Barbara and Allan begin to suspect that something's awry when they witness some strange behavior.

"Meanwhile, when friend Trent Stafford (Jackson Rathbone) and his parents are the victims of a home invasion, Daphne uses her abilities to help Jim try to track down the thugs responsible for the violent act."
