MILLARWORLD VARIANTS

Marvel Comics has unveiled three variant covers by Leinil Francis Yu for Mark Millar's Icon titles.

Yu's variants to Kick Ass 2 #2, Superior #4 and Nemesis #4 form a showdown image with the three series.

"People kept suggesting I do a crossover with the Millarworld characters and I kind of loved the idea," Millar said. "It wouldn't make sense as a story as they all exist in their own distinct universes. But I was talking to Leinil in New York about this a few weeks back and we came up with this idea of spreading the image across three variants, each character touching the front cover of another book and it seemed very exciting.

"These are my wee babies so to see them all playing together gives me a warm glow. I'm collecting them to form one big image and to have it framed over my desk."

Kick-Ass 2 #2 will be in stores on Dec. 29, Superior #4 will be in stores on Jan. 5 and Nemesis #4 will be in stores on Dec. 29.

TRON: LEGACY: MICHAEL SHEEN

Image Comics has announced a price reduction for Morning Glories. Beginnning with #7, the title's cover price will drop from $3.50 to $2.99.

Image also announced that the first trade paperback, collecting issues #1-6, will have a special introductory price of $9.99.

The trade paperback will be in stores on Feb.16, one week before Morning Glories #7.

"Issue 7 starts a new story arc, making it the perfect jumping-on point for new fans," said writer Nick Spencer. "The combination of the specially priced trade and the lower price for issues is a boon, both for myself and the fans. I get to keep telling an electrifying story while fans get to enjoy all the thrills at a more affordable price!"
