THOR: KEVIN FEIGE

With the release of the Thor trailer on Friday night, Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige was part of an online chat conducted by the Los Angeles Times.

Following are highlights from the chat.

* On Iron Man in The Avengers: "Joss (Whedon) would kill me if I gave anything away, but I will say that the evolution you saw his armor take in IM2 will continue in The Avengers."

* On next summer's movies: "The Thor and Cap movies are really about our distinct origin stories for two of our most famous characters. As long as people are excited to find hidden secrets, we'll continue to hide them."

* A Power Pack movie? "Maybe someday!"

* Don Blake in the Thor movie? "People looking for a reference to Don Blake in the Thor film will find one."

* Marvel is working on a trailer for Captain America: The First Avenger and it will be released in the new year.

* The Punisher rights are back at Marvel. "Various plans are in the works," Feige said.

* "A very talented" writer is working in a draft for Iron Fist.

* Asgardian characters will speak more contemporarily than in the comics. "As much as I love Stan the Man's (Lee) Shakespearean dialect, we felt it would be over-bearing," Feige said. "However, our director Kenneth Branagh has a great ear for the English language and I think you'll find that the Asgardian speak is appropriately regal."

* Fan will see Hugo Weaving in makeup as the Red Skull soon. "And believe me, he looks amazing," Feige said.

* The latest on Edgar Wright's Ant-Man? "Edgar was here a few days ago. He's already working on the next draft," Feige said.

* Feige said Bucky plays an "important part" in Captain America. "Sebastian Stan's done a tremendous job playing him," he said.

* Thera ere no Invaders in Captain America, but "lots of Howling Commandoes," Feige said.

* Feige said Moon Knight is a "challenging" character and Marvel has talked about it in various versions for years.
