DC COMICS FIRST LOOKS

FIRST LOOK: ZATANNA #8

Zatanna #8 will arrive in stores on Dec. 22 from DC Comics. The issue is written by Paul Dini, with art by Cliff Chiang and a cover by Stephane Roux.

Here's how DC describes the issue:

"Beginning 'Pupaphobia,' an all-new three-part adventure with art by Cliff Chiang! Everybody's got that one thing that just creeps them out beyond all reason. For Zatanna Zatara, it's puppets: 'Creepy, horrible, soul-sucking puppets.' But why is one of the most powerful sorcerers on Earth scared of little wooden men in cheap suits? Zatanna #8 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.99.

FIRST LOOK: BATMAN ANNUAL #28

Batman Annual #28 will arrive in stores on Dec. 22 from DC Comics. The issue is written by David Hine, with art by Agustin Padilla and a cover by Stanley "ARtgerm" Lau.

Here's how DC describes the issue:

"This year's Batman annuals collide in a 2-part story involving both Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson as Batman! In this second part of the story, when a Batman, Inc. recruitment trip to Paris, France leads to a murder mystery, the heroes deduce that the assassinations are connected to a strange cult leader. But will this religious figure take them one step closer to solving the bizarre murders? Or are The Question, Bruce and Dick getting one step closer to becoming the next victims?"

Batman Annual #28 will be 56 pages and will cost $4.99.
